A little info to help you along your planning journey.
While this guide covers a broad range of what I do and why I do it, if you’d like a little more specific info, planning assistance, or just a sit-down and chat, then I’m always open to grabbing a coffee and helping people with their Wedding journey!
The easier I can help make the process, the more joy you’ll have on the day, and the better your memories will be.

Hours spent on Wedding

Hours spent on Wedding

So where is your money actually going?

So you’ve booked a 12 hour photo package, surely you’re only paying for that 12 hours right?
Lets take a quick look at that.

A 12 hour Wedding + Eshoot + Album actually equals on average 73 hours work

  1. initial phone call with client ____1____  hour

  2. Ad-hoc Emails and Text Messages  ____1____  hour

  3. Preparation for Engagement shoot ____1____  hour

  4. Travel time there and back ____2____  hours

  5. Shooting time____2____  hours

  6. Downloading and sorting data ____1____  hour

  7. Editing ____2____  hours

  8. Creating/Uploading to gallery for delivery ____1____  hour

  9. Preparation for Wedding ____2____  hours

  10. Travel time there and back ____3____  hours

  11. Shooting time ____12____  hours

  12. Downloading and sorting data ____4____  hours

  13. Editing ____35____  hours

  14. Creating Slideshow ____2____  hours

  15. Creating/Uploading to gallery for delivery ____2____  hours

  16. Designing & Redesigning Album ____2____  hours

So there we are, 73 hours.
Your 12hr photography package is actually paying for roughly 2 weeks worth of work and not just the time spent at your Wedding on the day,
which is absolutely ok.

It’s just a grim reality that People often mistakingly perceive wedding photography as “paying well”, when in actual fact we do this job simply because we love it and we recognise how lucky we are to be a part of your beautiful day.
