Frequently asked Questions

  • For a typical 10 hour day you will be looking at roughly 900 images

  • Great Question! While I always try my best to get them edited as fast as possible, the timeframe can range up to 16 weeks for your full edited gallery. This is all season dependant, based on how busy I am and how many Weddings are in the queue to edit. You can always opt to get priority editing however, and receive them in less than 4 weeks!

  • Another great question! Yes you absolutely can. From day one I’ve had the option for speedy turnaround for all my couples. It’s included on every quote as an option and guarantees you’ll receive the full gallery within 4 weeks of your Wedding. There’s a small fee, but if you love your photo’s then it’s 100% worth it!

  • Yes, all delivered Photos will be lovingly edited in either Colour or B&W.

  • As Every Wedding is different, that really depends on your individual needs. I’d love to chat with you in person to discuss this though.

  • I get it, you’re already engaged, why have an engagement shoot?
As it’s more of a photo rehearsal, it’s the best way to get comfortable in front of the Camera. It’s a practice session to not only get rid of any awkwardness before the big day, but also a great way to build rapport so that on your Wedding day, the day that matters, you’re comfortable with me being there and not at all feeling awkward in front of the Camera.

  • I personally do not, however I do Recommend some quality Videographers here

  • I normally recommend a min of 10 hours to cover everything from prep to party, although everybody’s big day is different, so I’d love to chat in person to work it out with you. Drop me a line here.

  • Yes. All Gallery Photos are at full resolution and the same quality as you’d get on a USB. So you can feel confident to download them and have them printed / enlarged.

  • Absolutely you can, in fact I recommend it, then you can save it where you like, and even upload it to your own Cloud storage service so that it’s there for you, forever.

  • Please do! They’re your Wedding Photos after all. You can even create seperate smaller galleries within your main gallery so you can put family / work friends / school friends / photos together to share amongst friends & fam.

  • Typically within a month of you choosing your favourites. Timeframes can also be effected by supplier delays which recently we’ve discovered can be effected due to floods, fires, covid, transport, Aus-post etc (the list goes on unfortunately), But mainly how busy the season is as I have to prioritise delivering edited photos to my beautiful couples above everything else.

  • Not at all! I have done my whole career.

  • I sure do.

  • I do offer them as an option, however if you’re looking for something nice to physically show off your Wedding Day, I would recommend a beautifully designed Album as USB’s can fail and even the plugs seem to always be changing.

  • Absolutely! I offer a range of shapes, sizes, colours and material types to suite your budget and style

  • Within your Gallery you expand your desired photo, then click a little ‘love heart’ symbol in the top right corner, then save all your faves under your email address.

We’re in actual fact being paid less than the minimum wage.

Let’s break down a 12 hour Wedding with Engagement shoot & an Album.

The total time spent on a 12hr Wedding equates to 73hours physical work.
    *See the breakdown here*

You’re paying $4795, less the cost price of an Album - $500
Which equates to $4295 going to the business.

Now lets divide that $4295 by 73hrs work which equals $58.83/hr to the business - before tax & overheads.
Tax and overheads are typically 2/3 of a businesses income.

The remaining 1/3 is our pay, and equates to just $19.6/hr.
The Australian minimum wage is $23.3/hr.

Photography is not the price it is due to “WEDDINGTAX”, it is the price it is because if it were an less it would be unsustainable.
